Angela Amato

Angela Amato '14

Amato ’14 returned to Susquehanna in August 2022, joining the women’s soccer program as a full-time assistant coach. In her first season with the River Hawks, the team finished regionally ranked with a 14-5 overall record. The 2022 season was capped with multiple athletes earning all-conference, all-region, and All-American honors. Amato worked primarily with the team’s defense who helped to set a new program record for most shutouts in a row, with two players earning Defensive Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year in the Landmark Conference. 
 
Amato was a two-year captain for the River Hawks and received multiple Landmark Conference accolades during her career from 2010-2014. In addition to assisting the women’s soccer program, she has worked with North Union United, DC Soccer Club, Nike Girls Soccer Camps, and EXACT Camps. 
 
Amato earned her bachelor’s degree in Communications from Susquehanna in 2014 and has 8 years of work experience in the private sector. She is certified as a CrossFit Trainer  and as a Personal Trainer through NSCA.
