Ebony Campbell

Ebony Campbell was named Assistant Coach of the Susquehanna University Women’s Soccer coaching staff in 2018.

Campbell comes to Susquehanna after assistant coaching stints for the Iowa Rush Soccer Club North as a goalkeepers coach and with Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, Iowa where she was an assistant and goalkeeper coach for both the men’s and women’s teams.

Prior to coaching in Iowa, Campbell served as assistant coach for the Spoto High School Girls’ team in Riverview, Florida and was a Head Start Teacher for the R’Club Early Learning Academy in Temple Terrace, Florida.

Campbell holds coaching certifications with a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National E License as well as United Soccer Coaches (formerly National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)) Goalkeeping Diplomas I, II and III.

The accomplished goalkeeper brings collegiate experience from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin where in two seasons, she was ranked among the top-30 nationally for saves and was ranked 20th in the country for saves per game as a senior. She also played for Iowa Central Community College to two seasons before transferring to the Texas NCAA Division II school. At, Iowa Central, Campbell earned a pair of NJCAA All-Region selections.

Campbell graduated with a degree in Multidisciplinary Studies – Education from Texas Permian Basin after earning her degree in Elementary Education from Iowa Central and is currently working toward a Master of Sports Administration – Coaching and Leadership Education from Upper Iowa University.

The All-Conference and Western Conference All-America selection for Riverview High School in Florida has also volunteered with projects for the Special Olympics and coached youth soccer teams.
