Stephanie Johnson joined the athletic administration team at Susquehanna University in the summer of 2022, as she came to Selinsgrove after serving as the Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator at Brevard College in Brevard, NC. She also serves as Susquehanna's women's volleyball's interim head coach for the 2024-25 year after stepping in during the spring of 2024. 

Johnson served in her role at Brevard from February 2019 until July of 2022, where she was responsible for game day event management and operations, facility management, new hire onboarding, updating and revising staff and student handbooks, handling the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Council, handling work-study schedules and budgeting and also handling sport oversight of six intercollegiate teams for the Tornados. 

Johnson also created and coordinated a leadership development program for the Brevard SAAC, founded athletic department committees for diversity, equity and inclusion as well as an athletics mentorship program between head and assistant coaches. She also sat on the Social Action Leadership Team (SALT) and Institute for Women in Leadership (IWIL) Steering committees at Brevard. 

Prior to her stint at Brevard, Johnson was an Assistant Director of Athletics at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown, PA from July 2017 to January of 2019. At DelVal, Johnson was responsible for managing athletic department game day staff, coordinating schedule contracts, scheduling facilities for the school's 17 athletic teams as well as supervising athletic office student-workers. She was also an assistant volleyball coach for the Aggies from 2017 to 2018. 

Johnson served as the Tournament Director for the 2017 Middle Atlantic Conference Cross Country Championships, while also holding tournament planning positions for the 2017 NCAA Division III Football Tournament, 2017 Division III Regional Volleyball Championships, 2018 Division III York Regional Baseball Championships and 2018 Division III National Field Hockey Championships. 

A 2012 graduate of Coppin State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sport Management, Johnson is a member of the Women Leaders in College Sports, National Association of Collegiate Directors of America (NACDA), Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (NOAA) and National Association of Division III Athletic Administrators. Johnson played NCAA Division I volleyball at Coppin State from 2009 to 2011, while also coaching high school and club volleyball in the Baltimore area.

A native of Memphis, Tenn., Johnson served her home area as head coach of KIPP Academy Charter School's inaugural volleyball program, as well as the Memphis Juniors Volleyball Association and Briarcrest Christian High School. Briarcrest Christian won the Tennessee Division II Class AA state championship in 2016 and finished as the state runner-up in 2015.
