Aaron Ettinger

Aaron Ettinger was named the Head Women's Golf Coach at Susquehanna University in the fall of 2023.

In his short time with the River Hawks, "Coach E" has turned the program into a competitive presence in the Mid-Atlantic Region. In his first spring in 2024 Susquehanna maintained having an All-Landmark finisher at the conference championships in Second Team recipient Erin Hahn. Backed by a strong recruiting class, the River Hawks took off in 2024-25, finishing 11-0 in their dual and tri matches and placing third at the Landmark Championships, their highest ever since the conference began sponsoring golf in 2017-18. First-year Kennedy Petrovich set a new school record during the year with a 71, the first under-par score in team annals, and capped off her rookie campaign finishing First Team All-Landmark. Fellow first-years Peyton Cerminaro and Isabella Westerfield placed Second Team.

An accomplished golfer in the Susquehanna Valley area, Ettinger had a decorated high school career on the links at Selinsgrove High School, where he was a two-time district champion and medaled in multiple events. He was voted MVP his senior year. Ettinger is a member of the Women's Golf Coaches Association and possesses a single-digit handicap.

Ettinger also serves as the Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Susquehanna, a position he has held since 2019, save the 2021-22 season when he was Head Girls Basketball Coach at Selinsgrove High School. He also was an assistant coach for SU's men's basketball team from 2010 to 2012 and 2015 to 2017, with a turn as Head Boys Basketball Coach at Midd-West High School from 2013 to 2015.

Ettinger earned his B.S in elementary education from Bloomsburg University in 2009, adding a M.Ed. with a specialization in classroom technology from Wilkes University in 2014.
