Eva Stoessel joined Nick Hoover's women's soccer coaching staff in spring of 2025.
Stoessel's time at Lock Haven saw her appear in 72 games, starting 54, and she scored seven goals to go with two assists from midfield. Named captain as a senior, she continued to wear the armband as a graduate student in 2024.
A native of Grantville, PA, Stoessel brings coaching experience from Penn FC and Elite Soccer Academy to the River Hawks, while she helped the Lancaster Inferno U23 side to an unbeaten 2024 campaign in the UWS League 2.
Stoessel graduated magna cum laude from Lock Haven in May 2024 with a degree in Business Administration and Management, and is continuing her studies there as a graduate student in Sport Management and International Sport Management. She was named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete in 2023.Â
