Hayden Braga joined Susquehanna as the Special Teams Coordinator and Wide Receivers Coach in summer of 2026.
Braga played football and graduated from Anna Maria College in Paxton, Mass., receiving his Bachelor’s in Sport Management in 2021 and his MBA the following year. He played receiver for the Amcats from 2018 to 2022, catching 119 balls for 1,466 yards and seven touchdowns. His best season was in 2021 when he caught a career-high 46 passes for 593 yards with one touchdown reception. He also turned in one kickoff return touchdown that season as the Amcats won the ECFC title and a trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament, finishing with a 7-3 record.
Braga played professionally overseas in 2023 for Germany’s Dresden Monarchs before returning to the Anna Maria coaching staff. He held down Special Teams Coordinator and Defensive Coordinator positions before being promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2025. That year the Amcats posted their best record in four years with a 7-3 mark and a 7-2 conference record in their first and only season in the MASCAC. Anna Maria's defense were perennial conference stat leaders over this two-year stretch between pass defense, turnovers, and defensive touchdowns, ranking 22nd nationally in the latter in 2025.
