Jeremiah 'JJ' Clinchoc joined the Susquehanna cross country and track & field coaching staff as assistant coach in August 2019. Clinchoc's primary area of focus is the mid-distance, distance, and the high jump. In July 2021, he was elevated to head coach of the men's and women's cross country programs while retaining his duties as assistant for the men's and women's indoor and outdoor track & field teams. Clinchoc helped guide the women's cross country squad to an exciting one-point win at the Landmark Conference Championships in 2021.

Clinchoc was also part of the 2021 Landmark Conference Coaching Staff of the Year after helping the men's outdoor track & field team to the Landmark Conference Championship title. With his guidance, the mid-distance and distance runners claimed Top 5 finishes, including a bronze medal finish in the 10,000m. This marked the beginning of an incredible four-year stretch where the River Hawks have claimed every Landmark Men's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field championship since 2021, while the women have won three straight Landmark indoor titles since 2022 and the school's first-ever women's outdoor track & field conference title in 2023. Clinchoc was also the driving force behind securing an NCAA All-American in the high jump when Bryce Ellinger finished third overall at the 2023 outdoor championships.
