Matthew Prudhomme joined the Susquehanna football coaching staff as Tight Ends Coach in spring of 2026. He reunites with his former college coach after playing for Chris Pincince at New Haven from 2022 to 2024. An offensive lineman, Prudhomme was on the Chargers teams that produced three NCAA Division II Tournament appearances in that span and the O-line ranking nationally between sacks and tackles for loss allowed per game.Â
Prior to UNH Prudhomme spent one season at NCAA Division I Furman University in Greenville, S.C. in Fall of 2021. He finished his playing career last fall at Slippery Rock University, serving as center on the offensive line that ranked 16th in the nation overall in sacks allowed in addition to paving the way for an offensive unit that ranked 17th in the nation in rushing offense, 33rd in total offense and 39th in scoring.
Originally from Orlando, Fla., Prudhomme attended Bishop Moore Catholic High School where he played football and competed in track & field, as well as weightlifting. He lettered three times in football and twice in weightlifting. Prudhomme was also academically sound, making the NE-10 Academic Honor Roll throughout his time at New Haven.
