Susquehanna University Mental Wellness Program

Susquehanna offers all student-athletes access to our university's own Cognitive Performance Coach, Nick Fuller. Some of the things that are covered by working with a Cognitive Performance Coach in the field of sport psychology are helping athletes with emotional regulation, letting go of mistakes, burnout, confidence, composure, transitions in and out of sport, coping with injury, and overcoming a fear of failure.

For student-athletes looking to schedule an appointment with Nick, please head to the link below to schedule an appointment. All appointments are confidential.

About Nick Fuller
I've been captivated by the mind-body connection during performance since I failed to live up to my potential as an athlete. It wasn't for a lack of physical ability but a lack of mental ability. My confidence was here today and gone tomorrow. I went on a quest to understand why my mind often set my limits rather than my skill and effort. I studied sport psychology at West Virginia University and then got my masters degree from the California University of PA in the same field. From there, I worked for the United States Army, working with Army Rangers, Apache Pilots, and Infantrymen, helping to increase their resilience and become battle-ready. I coached the same skills in the field of sport psychology to the soldiers. I've now transitioned to working with athletes full-time. I launched The Tactical Mind in 2019 and have helped student-athletes from almost every sport increase their mental game to separate themselves from the competition. My client list includes professional athletes, Olympians, All-Americans, Division I-III athletes, and high school All-Americans.
