Amanda Amerman (Jackson, NJ Jackson Memorial) pitched in two winning games last week for the River Hawks against York College of Pennsylvania on Wednesday and Moravian University on Saturday. She came on in relief to get the final five outs against the Spartans, striking out two in the process that allowed the River Hawks to win in walk-off fashion in the bottom of the seventh with a bases-loaded walk. Starting against Moravian, she let a two-run home run by the River Hawks stand by allowing just one run in seven innings of work, striking out three.
