Freshman Eric Towse was selected as the Landmark Conference Men's Swimmer of the Week after an outstanding performance against non-conference opponent Ursinus on Friday. Towse was victorious in two events and placed second in another, completing a stellar Friday night.Â
Towse touched the wall first in the 100 meter backstroke, posting an impressive time of 53.50. Following his first victory, Towse scored his second win of the night in the 200 meter individual medley with a time of 2:01.02. Towes finished the night with a second-place finish in the 200 meter backstroke, turning in a time of 1:56.03.

Towse holds the top time in the Landmark Conference for both the 100 backstroke (52.32) and the 200 backstroke (1:52.25).
This is Towse's first-ever Landmark Athlete of the Week award, which places him as the fourth freshman in the conference to earn the accolade. Eric holds the top time in the Landmark for both the 100 meter backstroke (52.30) and the 200 meter backstroke (1:52.25).Â
Susquehanna Men's Swimming will continue their season against Goucher College on Tuesday, January 22nd at the Garrett Center Natatorium in Selinsgrove. Â
