Junior Alexa Pietrini broke the school record by over a second in the 1000 meter run as the Susquehanna University Women's Track and Field team completed the two-day Bison Open at Bucknell in Lewisburg.

Pietrini finished the 1000 meter run in 3:14.40, placing 4th of 13 runners that included participants from Division l and Division ll schools.
 
Pietrini has earned the Women’s River Hawk of the week for her efforts.
