Seinor Goalkeeper Matt Ellingworth was excellent between the sticks for the Susquehanna Men’s Soccer squad this week in their two matches against regionally ranked Gettysburg College and nationally ranked landmark conference foes Catholic University
 
Ellingworth kept a clean sheet against the prolific offense of Gettysburg, not allowing any of three shots on goal pass him.
 
In the 3-2 loss to #19 Catholic, Ellingworth in total faced 21 shots and notched 10 saves on 13 shots on goal, including a penalty kick late in the second half. These are all season highs for shots faced and saves.
 
Ellingworth is currently 7^th for saves, goals allowed and goals allowed percentage and is 6^th for save percentage in the Landmark Conference. For his efforts, Ellingworth has been named River Hawk Athlete of the Week. Him and the rest of the Men’s Soccer team will continue their fight towards Landmark Conference playoffs with a matchup against Goucher this week.
