BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Susquehanna University volleyball team beat the Huskies of Bloomsburg University Wednesday night, on their home court, in a non-conference match up. The River Hawks were fueled in the victory by new teammate Bromwyn Keener.

How It Happened
- The River Hawks (24-4) were able to combine for 46 kills to Bloomsburg's (7-16) 29, to claim a 3-0 victory.
- In the first set, Susquehanna dominated the Huskies in the 25-16 set victory. The River Hawks recorded 12 kills and .194 attack percentage.
- SU again took set two 25-16 as they tallied 14 kills to BU's eight.
- The Huskies were able to take a mid-set lead in the third set, but it was the River Hawks that came out on top scoring the final three points of the set in the 26-24 victory.
Inside the Box Score
- Sydney Portale (Glen Mils, Pa./Garnet Valley) led the match in kills with 14 while Rosina Esposito (Coraopolis, Pa./Montour) and Kody Dillon (Bear, DE. / Caravel Academy) each recorded seven.
- Junior libero Lizzie Herestofa (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) lead the defense with 16 digs while Kasey Bost (Eldersburg, Md. / Liberty) and Lindsey Pugh (Bear, DE. / Caravel Academy) were also in double digits with 15 and 11.
- Veronica Kirchner (Drexel Hill, Pa. / Monsignor Bonner-Prendergast) had a team best three blocks and Esposito recorded three service aces.
- Bloomsburg's leaders were Mary Kate Mooney with nine kills, Alyssa Cianciulli with 22 digs and Sydney Buell with four blocks.
