SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Susquehanna University men's soccer team came away with a quality win Wednesday night, knocking off regionally-ranked Gettysburg College. Thanks to a goal by junior forward
Chris Naiman (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Twp.) in the 58th minute, Susquehanna (4-8-0) posted a 1-0 non-conference win over the Bullets (6-4-1).

How It Happened
- Gettysburg controlled possession in the first half, notching a 5-2 shot advantage and a 3-2 edge in corner kicks. Senior Matt Ellingworth (Sparta, N.J./Lenape Valley) kept the Bullets off the board in the first 45 minutes with three saves.
- Following a scoreless first half, sophomore midfielder Brian McKee (Brewster, N.Y./Brewster) fired in a long throw-in which Naiman corralled and then beat a Gettysburg defender before finding the back of the net for his team-leading fourth goal of the season.
- Naiman had a shot at a second goal in the 73rd minute but Thomas Keane turned away his penalty kick.
- The River Hawks had two scoring opportunities in the 79th minute but one hit the post and the other was denied by Keane.

- Susquehanna doubled up the Bullets on shots in the second half, 6-3, as each side finished with eight shots for the game.
- Gettysburg tallied a 7-3 margin in corner kicks after 90 minutes.

- Ellingworth ended the match with his three first-half saves as SU registered its second shutout of the season.
- Keane recorded three stops as well as the Bullets saw their unbeaten streak halted at two.
