Stephanie Dowling scored three goals while Gabi Toohey and Christine Hoerman each added a goal and an assist, but the Susquehanna University Women's Lacrosse team suffered a 19-7 loss to and undefeated Drew University Saturday afternoon at Sassafras Field in Selinsgrove.

How It Happened

• The Rangers (11-0 Overall, 2-0 Landmark) notched the first two goals of the game before the River Hawks (4-6, 0-2) scored an unassisted goal by Dowling on a fast break to cut the deficit in half.
• Drew scored the next two goals, but Susquehanna would score two of the next three goals to stay within reach at 5-3.
• The River Hawks would score two more times before the end of the half, but trailed 13-5 at the break after an offensive flurry from Drew. Kathrina Demaio and Christine Hoerman netted the final two goals.
• The second half began without scoring from either side, but Drew scored with 24 minutes remaining to extend their lead. Toohey added a goal shortly after, but the offense remained quiet as a whole for the remainder of the game.
• The Rangers scored four more times to close the half compared to just once (Dowling) for the River Hawks, and took this one 19-7.

• Dowling led all scorers with three goals as Christine Hoerman, Toohey, Demaio and Katie Hoerman each scored.
• Nicole Hauck, Toohey and Christine Hoerman each added assists on the afternoon.
• Demaio now sits two points away from the 100-mark. The River Hawk attack has combined to achieve her success at Goucher and Susquehanna.
• Alison Elf and Toohey each caused three turnovers while Toohey also scooped up four ground balls.
