Field Hockey Drops Close One to Dickinson
CARLISLE, Pa. – The Susquehanna University field hockey lost a close game to Dickinson College (3-1) on Tuesday evening, despite an early second quarter lead.

How It Happened
- Maddie Dombroski was able to score in the third quarter lifting the tie and winning the game for the Red Devils.
- Dickinson took an early 1-0 lead just over eight minutes into the contest but Susquehanna's Katie Koch (West Milton, Pa./Lewisburg) was able to answer back just four minutes later for her first goal of the season.
- A goal from senior captain Hunter Pitman (White Haven, Pa./Crestwood) assisted by first-year Jadyn Brezinski (Numidia, Pa./Southern Columbia Area) put the River Hawks up in the second quarter.
- The Red Devils answered back with two more goals, one in the second and one in the third, to win the game.

- The River Hawks were able to fire off eight shots (seven on goal) while Dickinson put up 13 shots (10 on goal).
