ANNVILLE, Pa. – Sophomores Ashlynn Searer (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) and Haley White (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) improved to 2-0 in dual matches Saturday afternoon as the lone winners for the Susquehanna University women's tennis team. Susquehanna (1-1) suffered an 8-1 road loss to Lebanon Valley College (2-2) in a non-conference match.

How It Happened
Doubles

• Searer and White picked up an 8-3 victory at No. 1 doubles for their second consecutive doubles dual match win.

 
Singles

• Sophomore Anna Ream (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) battled at No. 3 singles, rallying from a 6-2 loss in the first set with a 6-4 triumph in the second to force a third. Ream kept pace with Madison Poladian but in the end, Poladian outlasted Ream, 7-6 (4), in the third to take the victory.
• Senior Amy Jennings (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) also played well for the River Hawks at No. 4 singles, claiming five games before falling 6-4, 6-1 to Emily Wilczek.
