Box Score SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Four different Susquehanna University women's tennis players earned wins Tuesday afternoon as the River Hawks came up short to Alvernia University in non-conference action. Susquehanna (1-2) dropped its home-opener, 6-3, to the visiting Golden Wolves (3-1).

How It Happened
Doubles

• Senior Amy Jennings (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) and sophomore Anna Ream (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) picked up SU's lone doubles win with an 8-4 win over Rachel Rineer and Leah Kemper at No. 2 doubles. The duo improves to 3-2 on the season with today's victory.

 
Singles

• Sophomore Ashlynn Searer (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) notched her team-leading third win of the season with a 6-3, 6-0 defeat of Ariana Chupinsky at No. 1 singles, handing Chupinsky her first loss of the season.
• First-year Grace Tepes (Northampton, Pa./Northampton Area) claimed her first collegiate win in her first collegiate match, downing Leah Kemper, 8-4, at No. 5 singles.
• Sophomore Haley White (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) battled at No. 2 singles, taking the first set, 7-5, before falling 3-6 in the second set. White and Laura Covely went back and forth in the third set but Covely outlasted White, 11-9, for the win.
