Susquehanna Volleyball Wins Big Against No. 20 Wesleyan

How It Happened
- The River Hawks (13-3) were able to combine for 30 kills to the Cardinals (8-2) 19, to claim a 3-0 victory.
- In the first set, Susquehanna beat the Wesleyan 25-20, recording 10 kills and a .205 attack percentage as a team to the Cardinals .021.
- The River Hawks took set two 25-19 as they edged by the Cardinals in kills 13 to 12.
- Susquehanna dominated set three with a quick 25-16 victory after "the defense was incredible and gave opportunities to our offense", said assistant coach Greg Kimmel
Inside the Box Score
- Rosina Esposito (Coraopolis, Pa./Montour) led the team against Wesleyan in kills with 13 while outside hitter Sydney Portale (Glen Mills,Pa. / Garnet Valley) was also in double digits with 11. She also had an impressive .611 attack percentage.
- Junior libero Lizzie Herestofa (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) lead the defense with 13 digs while Esposito and Lindsey Pugh (Bear, Del./Caravel Academy) were also in double digits with 11 and 10 respectively.
- Kody Dillon (Bear, Del./Caravel Academy) and Veronica Kirchner (Drexel Hill, PA. / Monsignor Bonner-Prendergast) had four blocks each.
- Wesleyan's leaders were Harper Graves with eight kills and Phia Bellizzi with 19 digs.
