SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Senior Amy Jennings (Canandaigua, N.Y./Canandaigua) was the lone winner Saturday afternoon as the Susquehanna University women's tennis team (1-3) dropped an 8-1 decision to Penn State Harrisburg (3-1) in non-conference action.

How It Happened
Doubles

• Sophomores Ashlynn Searer (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) and Haley White (Saylorsburg, Pa./Pleasant Valley) had the closest doubles match as the duo fell 8-5 at No. 1.

 
Singles

• Jennings notched a 6-4, 6-3 victory at No. 4 singles to improve to 3-3 on the season.
• First-year Leanne VanEssendelft (Albrightsville, Pa./Jim Thorpe) took Claire Hackenberg to three sets at No. 5 singles. VanEssendelft rallied back from one set down with a 6-3 win in the second set but Hackenberg was able to hold on for a 10-5 win in the pro set, claiming the victory 6-3, 3-6, 10-5.
