WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Susquehanna University men's tennis team (1-0) opened up the 2019-20 campaign with a convincing 9-0 road win over Pennsylvania College of Technology (0-1).

Doubles

• Susquehanna dropped just nine games in claiming all three doubles matches.
• First-years Justin Mahoney (Oxford, N.J./Warren Hills) and Kyle Bitting (Mount Joy, Pa./Donegal) blanked their opposition, 8-0, at No. 3 doubles for their first career win.

 
Singles

• Sophomore Emil Vyskocil (Cornwall-on-Hudson, N.Y./Cornwall) posted a 6-1, 6-3 victory as Vyskocil played No. 1 singles for the first time in his career.
• Sophomore Ethan Cooley (Califon, N.J./Voorhees) notched a 6-1, 6-0 triumph at No. 3 singles while first-year John Duncan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) shutout his opponent at No. 4 singles.
• First-years Joshua Sanderson (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern), Conor Ryan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia), and Sam Sidle (Manchester, Pa./Northeastern) all collected their first collegiate singles wins at No. 2 singles, No. 5 singles, and No. 6 singles, respectively.
