WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Susquehanna University men's soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Lycoming College in the 19th Annual Battle of the Boot Saturday afternoon. Lycoming (1-2) keeps the Boot for the fifth straight season with the win.

How It Happened

• The River Hawks (1-2) fired two on-target shots in the first half, which Lycoming's Zack Donoway handled. Senior forward Alex Graul (Wyncote, Pa./Abington Friends) had a quality attempt in the 20th minute while junior forward Chris Naiman (Lake Hopatcong, N.J./Jefferson Township) sent in a shot that was denied by Donoway and resulted in a corner kick for SU.
• Lycoming's one first-half shot went wide and the two sides headed into halftime in a scoreless draw.
• The Warriors outshot Susquehanna, 4-1, in the second half. One of those shots gave the defense fits as George Charalabidis' header into the lower right corner was ruled an own goal after going off the head of a diving River Hawk defender.
