LANCASTER, Pa. – A trio of Susquehanna University women's basketball players scored in double digits Wednesday night to lead the River Hawks to their second consecutive win. Susquehanna (9-3) posted a 69-45 victory over the host Lancaster Bible College Chargers (2-8) in the final non-conference game of the season.

How It Happened
First Quarter
- Susquehanna and Lancaster Bible traded leads and baskets in the first five minutes of the game as both sides shot above 42-percent for the first quarter.
- Sophomore forward Olivia Brandt's (Bethlehem, Pa./Notre Dame) jumper at 4:33 sparked a 9-4 run to send the River Hawks into the second period with a 16-12 advantage.
Second Quarter
- SU separated itself from the Chargers in the second frame, shooting 53.3-percent from the field while limiting the hosts to 15.8-percent.
- The River Hawks used an 8-2 run to build their first double-digit margin of the contest, a 24-14 advantage at 5:20 on a layup by junior guard Nevin Hoenninger (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg).
- Susquehanna went on to outscore Lancaster Bible, 11-5, down the stretch to stake a 35-19 lead at halftime.
Halftime
- Hoenninger led all scorers at the break with 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting while junior captain Erin McQuillen (Cresskill, N.J./Cresskill) went 3-of-4 from downtown for nine first-half points.
- The River Hawks shot 51.7-percent from the field for the first half, including 4-of-8 from behind the three-point arc, while Lancaster Bible tallied a 27.3-field goal percentage.
Third Quarter
- SU continued its solid shooting in the second half, especially in the paint as the River Hawks owned a 14-6 margin in the key.
- The visitors maintained their double-figure advantage, growing it to a 23-point lead at 1:11 as first-year guard Kaitlyn Lynch's (Andover, N.J./Newton) layup gave her team a 50-27 advantage.
Fourth Quarter
- Susquehanna's bench came alive in the final quarter, scoring all 17 of the team's points.
- The River Hawks notched its biggest lead of the game with 1:13 remaining in the game as sophomore guard Hannah McLucas (Palmyra, Pa./Palmyra) knocked down a jumper to put SU up by 27 (67-40).

- Susquehanna outrebounded the Chargers, 42-32, as junior forward Madi Welliver (Turbotville, Pa./Warrior Run) paced the team with eight boards.
- The River Hawks dished out 21 assists behind Hoenninger's career-best eight helpers.
- SU finished with a 40-18 margin in the paint while tallying an 11-2 advantage in second chance points.
- Tonight marked the first-ever meeting between Susquehanna and Lancaster Bible.
Top Performers
- In addition to her career-high eight assists, Hoenninger led the team with 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting and added three steals and two rebounds.
- Junior forward Alanna Connolly (Whitehouse Station, N.J./Hunterdon Central) put up a season-best 12 points off the bench as Connolly only missed one shot in seven attempts. She also grabbed six boards.
- McQuillen chipped in 11 points on three triples and 2-for-2 at the free throw line.
- Lizzy Tilton notched a game-high 14 points while Jordyn Beers hauled in a game-best 11 caroms as Lancaster Bible dropped its eighth game of the season.
