ANNVILLE, Pa. – Senior attackman
Preston Ouellette (Trumbull, Conn./St. Joseph) put up a career-high five goals in leading the Susquehanna University men's lacrosse team to their first win of the 2020 campaign. Susquehanna (1-5) posted a 13-9 non-conference road win over the host Lebanon Valley College Dutchmen (1-3).

How It Happened
- The game started out by the two sides alternating the first four goals for a 2-2 tied game at the end of the first quarter.
- Susquehanna opened up the second period with three unanswered goals, including two in nine seconds. First-year defenseman Ted Zaborowski (Bel Air, Md./Bel Air) notched his first collegiate goal in the run.
- Ouellette's second of the afternoon was sandwiched between a pair of LVC goals as the River Hawks headed into halftime with a 6-4 lead.
- Trevor Holak made it a one-goal game at 11:03 of the third before Ouellette and senior attackman Michael Hatala (Glen Cove, N.Y./Glen Cove) scored 10 seconds apart for a three-goal SU lead at 6:02.
- Josh Croyle pulled the Dutchmen within two with 11 seconds left in the third stanza.
- The River Hawks put the game away in the fourth by scoring five straight to begin the final quarter, leading 13-6 at 8:32.
- The Susquehanna defense limited the Dutchmen to three goals in the final 8:11 to secure the team's first win of the season.

Top Performers
- First-year attackman Sean Carothers (Sparta, N.J./Pope John XXIII) finished the afternoon with season-bests of two assists and four points plus two goals while Hatala chipped in two goals as well.
- Senior Joe Acquaviva (Wyckoff, N.J./Don Bosco) won a season-best 16 face-offs as Acquaviva took all 24 face-offs for the River Hawks. He also scooped up a season-high five ground balls.
- Zaborowski led the defense with four ground balls and two caused turnovers in addition to his first career goal.
- Junior captain Tyler Gross (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney) started the game and made four stops with three ground balls and a caused turnover in the first half before senior Josh Weaver (Bel Air, Md./C. Milton Wright) came in for the entire second half. Weaver came up with seven saves and two ground balls.
- Croyle paced Lebanon Valley with three goals as the Dutchmen lost their second straight.
