SPARKS, Md. – Senior attackers
Stephanie Dowling (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Gov. Livingston) and
Gabi Toohey (Oradell, N.J./River Dell) each scored five but the Susquehanna University women's lacrosse team saw their three-game win streak halted Saturday evening. Susquehanna (3-2) gave up 12 goals in the second half to drop a 19-13 non-conference decision to McDaniel College (1-2) on Tierney Field at the US Lacrosse Headquarters in Sparks, Md.

How It Happened
- Mary Kate Clothier notched her team's first three goals of the game as the Green Terror jumped out to a 3-1 lead at 22:25.
- Toohey then scored twice in a 3-0 run as Susquehanna claimed a 4-3 margin at 8:25.
- McDaniel responded with four unanswered goals to hold a three-goal edge at 2:58 as four different players found the back of the net.
- SU netted the final two scores of the first half to pull the River Hawks within 7-6 at halftime, including Dowling's tally with 39 seconds to go.
- The Green Terror put together another big run to open up the second half, using a 4-1 run to boast an 11-7 advantage at 23:32 as Kealy Allison tallied three goals in the run.
- Susquehanna answered back with three straight, including two goals and an assist from Dowling, to close the gap to one at 18:18.
- McDaniel would outscore the River Hawks, 8-3, the rest of the way behind four goals from Allison.
- Dowling picked up SU's final goal of the game with 6:09 remaining.

- Dowling finished the evening with a career-best five goals plus two assists for seven points as she collected her 14th career, and fifth straight, hat trick while Toohey also notched five goals for her 13th career, and fifth consecutive, hat trick.
- Junior midfielder Tori Lombardi (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany Hills) scored two and sophomore attacker Caroline Chase (Trumbull, Conn./Trumbull) added a goal and two assists to round out the scoring for the River Hawks.
- Senior defender Mel Barracato (Flanders, N.J./Pope John XXIII) scooped up five ground balls and had two caused turnovers while junior defender Sarah Bobrowski (Bloomsbury, N.J./Delaware Valley Regional) collected four caused turnovers with two loose ball pickups.
- Senior captain Christine Hoerman (Glenmoore, Pa./Downingtown) grabbed five draw controls.
- Senior captain Libby Dex (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) made 10 saves with four ground balls in 55:50 minutes of work while first-year Emmaleen Regan (Monroe Township, N.J./Monroe Township) had one stop in the final four minutes.
- Allison paced the Green Terror in their first win of the season with eight goals and an assist plus 16 draw controls, seven ground balls, and six caused turnovers.
