SELINSGROVE, PA (December 1, 2021) -- Three seniors of the Susquehanna University football team were selected to the 2021 Fall Academic All-Centennial team, announced recently by the conference office, while 13 earned Academic Honor Roll honors.

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic All-Centennial team, a student-athlete must receive both All-Conference and Academic Honor Roll honors.
The three seniors that have been recognized with this honor are
Elijah Hoffman (Biomedical Science),
Michael Lefever (Finance), and
Cole Spencer (Physics 3-2 Pre-Engineering).

To be nominated for the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, a student must meet the following criteria: (a) a sophomore or higher in class standing; (b) cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher.
The senior class was represented by seven players -
Benjamin Burkhardt (Waymart, Pa./Western Wayne), Sammy Darrell (Plainfield, N.J./Pope John XXIII),
Elijah Hall (Wilmington, Del./Walter E. Stebbins),
Elijah Hoffman (Elysburg, Pa./Southern Columbia),
Michael Lefever (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley),
Anthony Scicchitano (Paxinos, Pa./Southern Columbia), and
Cole Spencer (Sweet Valley, Pa./Lake-Lehman).
Burkhardt, Hall, Hoffman, Lefever, and Scicchitano are all making the list for the third straight season, while Darrell is receiving his second selection.
Hunter Coulter (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg),
Mark Custer (Hatboro, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham),
Bryce Ellinger (Minersville, Pa./Minersville Area),
Jacob Kamp (Allentown, Pa./Salisburg Township), and
Vincent Kopysciansky (McElhattan, Pa./Central Mountain) represented the juniors on the Academic Honor Roll.
Custer and Kopysciansky both made the list for their second career selection.
Sophomore
Tim Macko (Florham Park, N.J./Seton Hall Prep) picked up his first career selection to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.
The River Hawks finished their season 9-2 including a Centennial-MAC Bowl Series win over Widener University to end the campaign.
