ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Susquehanna University women's tennis team picked up their second win of the season on the road Saturday afternoon. The River Hawks (2-3, 2-2 LC) posted a 6-3 Landmark Conference win over the host Elizabethtown College Blue Jays (1-3, 1-3 LC).

The River Hawks turned a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 lead by capturing No. 2 and No. 3 doubles.
Junior
Anna Ream (Lewistown, Pa./Mifflin County) and sophomore
Chelsea Kneedler (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) improved to 4-1 on the season with an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles while senior
Holly Young (Olyphant, Pa./Valley View) and first-year
Julie Bramley (Elizabethtown, Pa./Lower Dauphin) notched their first win as a doubles duo, posting an 8-3 triumph at No. 3 doubles.
Singles
Elizabethtown evened the score at 2-2 with a win at No. 2 singles before junior
Ashlynn Searer (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) pushed her undefeated streak to 5-0 with a straight set win at No. 1, knotting the match once again at 3-3.
The Blue Jays broke the draw with a straight set win at No. 3 before
Bramley tied up the match for the last time at 4-4 with her 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 4.
Kneedler rallied from down a set to take No. 5 singles, 1-6, 7-5, 6-2 to clinch the win for the River Hawks at 5-3.
First-year
Isabella Scappaticci (Wyoming, Pa./Wyoming Area) notched the last point of the match, winning a three-setter as well, 6-3, 4-6, 6-4, for her first collegiate win.
