ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. – The Susquehanna University men's tennis team snapped their two-match skid by blanking the host Elizabethtown College Blue Jays Saturday afternoon in Landmark Conference play. Susquehanna (3-2, 2-2 LC) posted its first shutout win of the season, 9-0, over the winless Blue Jays (0-5, 0-5 LC).

Ethan Cooley (Califon, N.J./Voorhees) and first-year
Tim Basta (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) pushed their season record to 5-0 as the duo shutout their opponents, 8-0, at No. 3 doubles.
Sophomores
John Duncan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) and
Joshua Sanderson (Mount Wolf, Pa./Northeastern) picked up their second straight win to move to 3-2 on the season with an 8-3 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Singles
As a team, the River Hawks only dropped 12 games between No. 1 and No. 5 singles. Sophomore
Conor Ryan (Bloomsburg, Pa./Central Columbia) won No. 6 singles by default.
First-year
Kyle Wagner (Milton, Pa./Milton Area) improved to 4-0 with his 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 4 singles while first-year
Alex Baker (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg) backed up his first collegiate singles win from last week with a 6-0, 6-4 win at No. 5 singles.
