SELINSGROVE, Pa. – Attackmen
Logan Frank (Sykesville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) and
Colton Dick (Owings, Md./Northern) each tallied a game-best five points in leading the Susquehanna University men's lacrosse team to victory on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.
Susquehanna (3-7, 3-5 LC) notched a 16-7 Landmark Conference win over the visiting Moravian College Greyhounds (3-6, 1-6 LC), avenging its 13-11 road loss to Moravian from April 3. The win also locked up the No. 4 seed for the River Hawks and a home game in the upcoming Landmark Men's Lacrosse Championship. SU will host a quarterfinal contest on Saturday, May 1.
Prior to the game, Susquehanna honored its seven seniors –

Kevin Rainey (Severna Park, Md./Severn School) – for their years of dedication to the men's lacrosse program.
How It Happened
Susquehanna staked a 3-0 lead with 10:21 left in the first quarter behind goals from first-years
Kobi Buffa (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) and
Dominic Contella (Nutley, N.J./Nutley) and sophomore midfielder
Victor Simone (Belvidere, N.J./Notre Dame). Junior midfielder
Nick Nolder put the Greyhounds on the board at 8:47 to interrupt the River Hawks' run. SU ended the first quarter with two goals in 41 seconds to take a 5-1 lead into the second frame.
Moravian won the second period, 4-2, opening up the stanza with two goals in 11 seconds to even up the score. The two teams then alternated the next four goals and Susquehanna carried a 7-5 advantage into halftime.
In the third stanza, the River Hawks used a 4-1 run, including a
Frank hat trick, to boast their biggest lead of the game, 11-6, with 6:12 remaining in the third.
After ending the third on a 3-0 run, SU began the fourth with three more unanswered goals to push its advantage to 14-6 with 10:52 on the clock. Senior attackman

Jason Carey (New City, N.Y./Clarkstown South) wrapped up the Susquehanna scoring.
Top Performers
Frank recorded his first career hat trick with a career-best four goals while finishing with a season-high five points.
Dick contributed season-bests of four assists and five points while
Buffa finished with his second hat trick on three goals plus an assist.
Simone,
Contella, and
Carey all added two goals each while sophomore midfielder
Jake Turner (Oceanport, N.J./Shore Regional) dished out a career-best four assists.
Sophomore
Ryan Prum (Secane, Pa./Ridley) had himself a day at the X, winning a season-best 20 face-offs in 27 attempts and scooping up a game- and season-high 12 ground balls.
Jentsch and junior defenseman
Gavin Rossman (West Chester, Pa./Downingtown West) paced the defense with two caused turnovers each.
Senior captain
Tyler Gross (Magnolia, Del./Caesar Rodney) made a dozen stops and grabbed a career-best four ground balls in picking up his first win of the season.
Nolder and junior attackman
Griffin LeBlond each had two goals to lead Moravian in its sixth consecutive loss. In goal, sophomore
Sean DeMott turned away 13 shots and committed three turnovers.
