Mill Hall, Pa. – Susquehanna University's Women's Golf team defeated Lock Haven University on Monday afternoon in their first golf match of the 2021-2022 season. As a team, the River Hawks shot a collective score of 389, outscoring Lock Haven who posted a score of 439.
Susquehanna got an excellent day from returners
Davis Ann Boyd (Pittsburgh, PA/Newton [NJ]) and
Ella Moores (Abbottstown, PA/Pennsylvania Home Schoolers) to help lead the team to the win.
Boyd shot an 87 on Monday, two strokes better than her 2021 Landmark Championship round, in which she finished in sixth place.
Moores shot an 89, one stroke off her mark (88) that captured her fourth place in the 2021 Landmark Championships.
Erin Hahn (West Milford, NJ/West Milford) and
Julie Neild (Schwenksville, PA/Perkiomen Valley) rounded out the top four as Hahn shot a 102 and Neild shot a 111.
