SELINSGROVE, PA – In a match scheduled early this morning, the Women's Golf team came ready to play and took home a 375-459 win over Juniata at Susquehanna Valley Country Club.
Davis Ann Boyd and
Ella Moores each improved on their scores in the first match of the year to lead the team to the win.
Leading the way for the River Hawks was Boyd, who shot her lowest score at Susquehanna with an 82 at her home course. The score was five strokes better than her first score of the season at Lock Haven. Right behind Boyd, was Moores who shot an 84 on the day. The senior surpassed her score from the September 13
th match against Lock Haven when she shot an 89.
Rounding out the top four scorers for the River Hawks was
Erin Hahn and
Julie Neild. Hahn shot a 107, five strokes behind her mark in the first match and Neild shot a 102, improving from her last outing by nine strokes.
For Juniata, Kaylin Foss recorded the lowest score with a 94.

- The team will be back on the course once again on Monday September 27th to play Juniata College in a rematch that will count as a conference matchup.
