ELIZABETHTOWN, PA (April 23, 2022) -- Elizabethtown College captured two of the three doubles' matches, using that momentum to earn five of six matches in singles action to take a 7-2 Landmark Conference match over the Susquehanna University women's tennis team Saturday.

Chelsea Kneedler and Anna Ream were able to outlast Kaylee Mustard and Morgan Bleicher at No. 3 doubles, posting a 8-7 win after taking the tiebreaker 7-5. The duo leads the squad in wins in doubles with five this season.

Grace Tepes and Isabella Scappaticci battled at No. 2 doubles but couldn't finish off the victory, falling to Gabriella Palladini and Olivia Richards 8-5. Elizabethtown College took the lead heading into singles as Kailey Caroland and Maddy Binder earned an 8-2 win at No. 1 doubles.

In singles play, Kristen Bair earned a 6-1, 6-1 straight set victory at No. 6 singles, as she upped her record in singles to 7-2 this season. Julie Bramley played well at No. 2 singles, winning ther opening set 7-5. She wouldn't be able to hold on though, as Palladini rallied for the Blue Jays to pick up a 5-7, 7-5, 1-0 (10-7) win. E-Town picked up straight set wins at every other spot to secure the win.
