GLASSBORO, N.J. (April 5, 2023) - Abby Andrus, Nikki Genovese, and Kelsey Homberg each had a pair of goals Wednesday in Susquehanna women's lacrosse's road trip to Rowan. These efforts served as all but two of the River Hawks' goals on the day as they were handed an 18-8 defeat by the Profs in their final non-conference test of the season. 

Emmy Regan and Aerin O'Brien split halves in goal, with the starting Regan posting six saves and allowing 11 goals in the opening half, while O'Brien netted eight saves and giving up seven in the second half. Caitlin Harvey and Hannah McNamara each had one goal to account for the remaining Susquehanna scores on the day.

Harvey's score served as the maroon and orange's only goal of the first quarter as Rowan held a 4-1 lead after one. Homberg scored to open the second to cut the Profs' only lead in half, serving only as temporary relief as the hosts drilled seven goals in the second quarter towards an 11-4 halftime lead. Rowan's Elaina Corson netted five goals on the evening, while Jamie Cutrera, Michaela Donnelly, and Molly Green each had three to headline the Profs' busy scoring day.

Rowan led in shots 41-21, including 32-16 in shots on goal. Susquehanna converted on 13-of-22 clear attempts to the Profs' 12-of-15, with Rowan winning 19-of-28 draw controls. Homberg and Katie Kogler each won two draw controls.

The River Hawks, 6-6, continue on with Landmark action this Saturday, hosting Elizabethtown at 11:00 A.M.
