SELINSGROVE, PA – The Susquehanna University women's tennis team embarked on their first Landmark Conference road trip this weekend, coming up on the short end at Drew Saturday and Elizabethtown Sunday. The River Hawks make their way home to host their first Landmark Conference match of 2024 against Juniata on Wednesday at 4 p.m.

The host Rangers handled Susquehanna convincingly, consisting of nine shutout frames. The closest contest occurred at two doubles, where
Katelyn Richter and
Jane Weaver won four sets versus Courtney Bresler and Riley Roesel.
ELIZABETHTOWN 7, SUSQUEHANNA 2
Julie Bramley was on hand for both of the River Hawks victories against the Blue Jays in the one spots. Her and
Alexa Wanamaker won their matchup with Olivia Richards and Haley Bishop by an 8-4 score, while Bramley proceeded to defeat Richards again in the top singles position by 6-4 and 6-1 scores. E-Town, however, proved to have enough fire power to take the win in this one, winning their remaining doubles matches by 8-1 scores and four singles wins in straight sets. The one outstanding was at five singles, where Danielle Walker pitted Morgan Bleicher to three sets. Walker won the first set, 6-2, but Bleicher took the next two, 6-2 and 10-2.
