MOUNT UNION, PA – The Susquehanna University men's golf team dueled with Juniata Sunday in Landmark Conference action. While the River Hawks posted a respectable 336 backed by a pair of 83's from
Patrick Bova and
Jonathan Spohn, the Eagles were led by a pair of 78 scores from Benjamin Pinthof and Colin Wimble as Juniata took the top five spots towards an 18-stroke victory.
Competing at the par-74, 6521-yard American Legion Country Club,
Grant Kuffa was next up on the leaderboard for Susquehanna with his 84 score, followed by
David Birmingham's 85 to account for the remainder of the team scoring.
Liam Dima was next with a 92, followed by a 100 from
Michael Rose.
The River Hawks take flight next weekend at Gettysburg College for the Gettysburg Shootout April 20-21 from the Founders Course at Penn Natoinal Golf Club.
