HUNTINGDON, PA – The Susquehanna University women's golf team finished their spring regular season with a bang Tuesday, defeating Juniata at the Huntingdon Country Club to complete the spring at 4-1 entering next weekend's Landmark Championships. The River Hawks defeated the host Eagles by 44 strokes, 421-465.
Senior
Erin Hahn once again led the charge, playing steady throughout by carrying a 46 on the front nine and 47 on the back for a 93 to lead all individuals. First-year
Molly Rohan was third on the leaderboard with a 103, netting a 53 on the front and improving by three strokes on the back.
Sara Rados put up a pair of 54's on both sides of a course for a well-balanced 108 score, while senior
Ava Greene and first-year
Kellyn Hackett-Slimm each had 117's. Greene had a 59-58 split, while Hackett-Slimm was a 60-57.
The Women's and Men's Landmark Conference Championships will run from Saturday, April 27 to Sunday, April 28 from the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort in Delaware, Pa., hosted by Drew and Goucher. It is the first year that the men's and women's championships will be held together.
