SELINSGROVE, PA (August 21, 2024) – Susquehanna University Director of Athletics Sharief Hashim announced the hiring of Ryan Redfern '11 as the new Head Men's Golf Coach. A familiar face on campus as he currently serves as the Assistant Registrar, Redfern is also a former student-athlete, having competed on the team from 2007 to 2011 and serving as team captain in 2011.

Ryan carries a career scoring average of 78.2 and was a Second Team All-Empire 8 selection in 2010, when the team also won the conference championship. He graduated in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science and served as a coach and high school teacher in New Jersey for a number of years before returning to Susquehanna in 2018 to serve as an Assistant Football coach. From there, he began working as the Transitions and Completions Coordinator in the Center for Academic Success from 2018 to 2022, before transitioning into his current role as the Assistant Registrar.
