HUMMELS WHARF, PA - The hits keep on coming for Susquehanna women's golf, completing a Landmark weekend sweep. After traveling Friday to conquer Wilkes, the River Hawks were back on their home course Sunday at Susquehanna Valley Country Club defeating Juniata 335-419. The win give Susquehanna a 5-0 start for the most dual wins in a season in program history.
First-year
Kennedy Petrovich was again the leader for the River Hawks, earning a 76 on the course and separating herself from the rest of the leaderboard by seven strokes and 25 ahead of the Eagles' leaders Lily Stewart and Molly Schweitzer, who each scored a 101. Petrovich birdied twice on the first and tenth holes.
Peyton Cerminaro also carried two birdies, coming on the ninth and 11th holes, as she scored an 83 for second place.
Isabella Westerfield scored an 83 as well with one birdie on 12. Sophomore
Molly Rohan finished fourth to finish SU's team scoring with a 93, scoring pars on the par-3 fifth and 11th holes. Rounding out the talent pool for SU was senior
Sara Rados with a 99, registering one par on the 15th hole, and
Kellyn Hackett-Slimm with a 104.
Susquehanna's fall season keeps them on the home front for their next match, playing against Misericordia Saturday, Oct. 5
