SCRANTON, PA - Susquehanna field hockey shut out the Pacers of Marywood University Wednesday night, with
Emma Campitelli's goal in the third quarter offering enough offense in the 1-0 victory. The win puts Susquehanna at 4-6 as they return to Landmark Conference play this weekend.
How it Happened:
- A defensive battle by both teams saw no scores in the first half, even though the River Hawks out shot the Pacers 9-0 in the first two frames of play.
- The third frame started out similar to the first half, with SU tallying shots at the Pacer goalkeeper, but being turned away each time.
