CLARK, NJ - The Susquehanna women's cross country team ran at Saturday's Landmark Conference Championships from Oak Ridge Park prepared to make a name for themselves at the top of the leaderboard. Junior
Sophia Bostwick kept her track record strong in her third conference title bout with another All-Landmark finish, earning Second Team with a 13th-place time of 23:17.91. Senior
Griane Reed took Honorable Mention with her 19th-place time of 24:10.87.
Rounding out the top five for the River Hawks in a close pack was were
Jess Askins in 34th at 24:51.50, Juliana Sobocinski in 35th at 24:51.16, and
Ayla Kerwan in 37th at a personal-best 24:55.72. These top times helped the River Hawks finish just where their Landmark Pre-Championship Poll had them at in fifth place, garnering 129 points. Moravian swept the team and individual title as the Greyhounds won with 39 points as Tara Smurla placed first with a time of 21:26.65. Rounding out the top seven were
Riley Schlosser in 45th with a time of 25:12.56 and
Ava Warner in 46th with a season-best time 25:12.78.
