SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna women's basketball starts the season 4-0 after a crushing win over Juniata in both teams' Landmark Conference opener Wednesday night in Houts Gymnasium. The River Hawks' perfect start through their first four games marks the best start under head coach
Gabby Holko, now in her sixth season.

- From the opening tip-off it was all SU, starting the game on a 5-0 run, forcing the Eagles to take a timeout.
- The River Hawks continued to put the pressure on in the first quarter, jumping out to an early ten point lead.
- Julia Roth earned a rebound with mere seconds to go in the first quarter, putting up a lay up for SU, pushing the lead to 25-14 at the sound of the first buzzer.
- The Eagles cut the SU lead down to five early in the second quarter, before the Susquehanna offense exploded for a 9-0 run.
- The River Hawks continued their hot offensive streak, pushing their lead all the way to 13 points to end the half. SU led 41-28 at the break.
