Bourgeois Claims Fourth All-American Nod from Walter Camp Football Foundation

NEW HAVEN, CT - Susquehanna football junior kicker Dominic Bourgeois was called to his fourth All-American Team this winter as the Walter Camp Football Foundation recognized him to their NCAA Division III All-American Team as Placekicker.

The Walter Camp All-American Team, known as the nation's oldest college football All-American Team with 136 editions, introduced a NCAA Division III All-American Team in 2024. 25 players were recognized in WCFF's second Division III edition. Bourgeois earned the foundation's placekicking spot after completing a record-breaking season as the River Hawks' full-time placekicker, punter, and kickoff specialist. His field goal kicking took center stage as he went perfect on the year at 20-for-20 to lead Division III. He was 5-for-5 on field goals of 40 or more yards, including a career-long 45 yarder in Susquehanna's NCAA Third Round playoff game at Eastern in a 29-0 victory. He also tied a career best making 4-of-4 field goal tries in two games this season to help give the River Hawks enough points to defeat Union in the season opener, 33-14, and Wilkes late in the year, 26-3, to clinch the Landmark Conference championship. It's the latest enshrinement for Bourgeois, who has worked up a consensus All-American season after being named to the AFCA and AP's First Team and most recently D3football.com's Third Team. Bourgeois was also named the AP's Special Teams Player of the Year and was a Fred Mitchell Award Semifinalist, recognizing the nation's top collegiate kicker across FCS, Division II, and Division III.
