SELINSGROVE, PA - Susquehanna University men's tennis made their home return to the Garrett Tennis Courts Saturday, playing host to Moravian to resume their Landmark season. Their highlight was first-year Logan Rauschenberger offering a one singles win over Wyatt Marshall 6-3 and 6-2. It would be SU's lone win of the day in a 6-1 defeat.

The Greyhounds proved to be as strong as the winds that gusted through Selinsgrove in an overcast and sometimes rainy afternoon. Rauschenberger and fellow first year Tyler Hester did pose a challenge at one doubles against Wyatt Marshall and Ronny PimentelFerrer, though the latter prevailed 6-4. Moravian took two and three doubles, both by 6-2 wins. The next closest the River Hawks would be in the singles was Austin Imhoof battling Ryan Burke in a tough opening set at six, with Burke winning out 7-5 and then a more decisive 6-0 in the next frame. After a 6-0 defeat to open five singles, Nathan Bassett gave Joey Kelly a challenge in the second frame, though Kelly won 6-3 to clinch the match. Moravian took singles matches two through four, coming no closer than a 6-2 decision in any set.

The River Hawks saddle up again next Saturday for more Landmark action at Lycoming.
