Zach Plank relieved him and only allowed one hit over the next 2.2 innings.
After a three-run second by the Royals, Susquehanna got two runs back on a
Jaden Buechler double, a
Tyler Hmielewski single that plated Buechler, and then an RBI groundout that nearly squeaked through off the bat of
Christian Biuso.
The River Hawks squared the game in the fourth, with Hmielewski again crossing the plate on a productive out by Biuso, with Hmielewski being drilled, advancing to third on two wild pitches, and Biuso's sac fly to center resulted in an RBI.

Michael Gagliardi's single up the middle.
Aidan Proctor was the River Hawks' next pitcher, going 1.2 innings with two punchouts, allowing two runs but leaving in a close game, and a three spot in the bottom of the seventh followed for Susquehanna.
Three straight singles by Biuso,
Dylan Heyduk, and Rossi resulted in Biuso scoring, and after a walk by pinch-hitter
Thomas Andersen,
CJ Orrego came through with a two-run knock the other way into right field to give the home side their second advantage of the day.
After four runs crossed in the top of the eighth, the River Hawks were unable to take the lead back as they dropped to 12-10 on the season, and 5-5 in the Landmark Conference.
