HUMMELS WHARF, PA - Susquehanna women's golf senior Sara Rados was recognized by her coaches, teammates and peers Sunday morning prior to the River Hawks' home tri-match against Franklin & Marshall and McDaniel. The team then parlayed the morning excitement with a first-place finish that came down to the last few holes. While they were comfortable ahead of McDaniel for much of the afternoon, the team was locked in a battle with the Diplomats, eventually winning out by two strokes with a 358 (+78) to F&M's 360 (+80) and the Green Terror's 388 (+108).

Franklin & Marshall got a bost with two in the top four, featuring the day's first-place finisher Shuyi Wang with a 78 (+8) to lead the pack by seven strokes. The River Hawks responded with Isabella Westerfield and Kennedy Petrovich finishing second and third, respectively. Westerfield carded a team-best 85 (+15), netting six pars. Petrovich scored an 87 (+17), achieving six pars as well. The major difference came from each side's final three, as all three remaining River Hawks tied for seventh with 93's (+23). Peyton Cerminaro offered a late surge with pars on holes 16 and 17 to help crack into the lead, while Molly Rohan played a great round with a birdie on hole three along with three pars. The senior Rados had a career day to earn her 93 thanks to four pars. The Diplomats' remaining scorers came in with 96, 97, and 103 scores. 

Susquehanna stands at 11-0 through all its dual and tri-matches this year, all the while combining for a 32-8 overall record according to Clipp'd that factors in all their tournaments and matchups in 2024-25. They have two more tests before heading down to Delaware, Pa.'s Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort for the Landmark Championships, beginning with Saturday's East Stroudsburg Invitational, then the Stevenson Spring Invitational the Monday after. Landmarks will run Saturday, April 26 and Sunday, April 27.
