Owen got the scoring started on a free position just a few minutes in, though Goucher returned the favor just moments later to make the score 1-1 with 10:34 to go in the first. Several minutes pass by before Owen again scored to put her at 99 goals lifetime and a 2-1 SU lead.
Nicolette Genovese helped put some distance between the two with a free position shot to end the first quarter ahead 3-1. This stirred a six-goal explosion for the River Hawks in the second, started by
Sloane Coddington, then
Jessica Russo on a free-position, one-up goal. Genovese and
Allie Kutler got the next two scores, both assisted by Owen, before the moment of truth as Owen made it 100 career goals on a feed from Kutler with just over one minute left in the half. The first-half scoring subsided after
Sophia Trively netted one with 16 seconds left on the first-half clock, again assisted by Owen, for a 9-1 halftime lead. Coddington and Owen quickly notched another score to start the second half and a ten-goal running clock. The River Hawks offered two more goals on the afternoon, the first from
Jessica Russo in the third quarter and the last of Owen's five goals in the fourth.

E-Town is sixth place with a 3-3 league mark as of Wednesday, with Lycoming, Drew, Goucher, and Wilkes respectively rounding out spots seven through ten in the standings.
