SELINSGROVE, PA - The Eastern Athletic Communications Association (EAST-COMM), announced the first ever Academic Honor Roll, which honors student-athletes hard work on and off the field. A total of 6,697 students across the EAST-COMM member schools were chosen, with 210 River Hawks making the list.
For student-athletes to be nominated for this prestigious title, they must have at least a sophomore eligibility and a 3.4 cumulative GPA. Over 43 sports were represented between all three academic/athletic seasons.
The fall academic honor roll produced 84 Susquehanna student-athletes, representing every fall sport the university has to offer.
Football: 18 recipients
Field Hockey: 16 recipients
Women's Soccer: 13 recipients
Men's Soccer: 11 recipients
Volleyball: 11 recipients
Men's Cross Country: 5 recipients
Women's Cross Country: 10 recipients
Following the success of the fall academic honor roll, the winter teams produced 23 student-athletes, once again spanning across all winters sports.
Women's Basketball: 5 recipients
Men's Basketball: 6 recipients
Men's Swimming and Diving: 4 recipients
Women's Swimming and Diving: 8 recipients
Wrapping up the 2024-25 academic/athletic year was the final recipients of the prestigious award with the spring athletic teams, showcasing 103 student-athletes.
