SELINSGROVE, PA - Haverford College women's soccer defeated the River Hawks by a 1-0 score Sunday in Susquehanna's home opener. While it was a 13th-minute Fords that decided the match, SU keeper Katie Henchy offered up seven key saves on the day to keep it a one-goal game. 

How It Happened 

• Haverford's Katie Dowd slipped one past the outstretched hands of SU goalkeeper Katie Henchey at the 12:49 mark of the first half off a corner kick.

Inside the Numbers 

• The River Hawks earned two shots during the match up, with one shot coming on goal. 

• Hannah Parslow earned the shot on goal, with Morgan Stickley tallying SU's second shot of the afternoon. 

• The River Hawks earned one corner kick, coming in the first half at the 27:20 mark of the opening frame. 

• Katie Henchey continued her incredible start to the season, adding another 7 saves onto her already existing 12, propelling the sophomore River Hawk to 19 saves in two games.
