SELINSGROVE, PA- Susquehanna women's soccer delivered another 4-nil victory Wednesday night over Notre Dame College of Maryland, beating the Gators by the similar score they put up on Saturday to defeat Delaware Valley. The two victories put the River Hawks at 2-3 on the year with another home date Friday night against DeSales in hopes of evening their record.

How it Happened

• Ava Billmeyer struck first for SU, nailing a goal at the 13:00 minute mark to give the River Hawks the 1-0 lead. Billmeyer sits tied for the most points on the team with Audrey Miller following the events of Wednesday night's match up.  

• The orange and maroon forced a ball into the goal box, where a Notre Dame of Maryland player touched the ball, scoring an own goal at the 34:54 mark of the contest.   

• Sydney Williams took a shot off a dime of a pass from Ava Billmeyer, netting the third goal of the game for the River Hawks at the 49:23 mark of the game.   

• Liv Baczor earned her first career goal late in the game, shooting the ball off her right foot, finding the back of the net at the 85:27 mark of the contest, pushing the SU lead to four.

• The River Hawks led a clinic of shots during the game, taking 47 overall shots, with 25 shots landing on the target. SU earned 23 shots in the first half, taking an additional 24 shots in the second half of play.  

• The SU shot count was led by Ava Billmeyer, tallying eight shots on the match, with six shots coming on goal. Billmeyer tallied one goal and one assist. 

• Gigi Duncan, and Kim Dalessio both took five shots, with Duncan finding the target with two.  

• Sydney Williams, and Kate Adelman both earned four shots on the night, with Williams finding the back of the net with one shot. 

• Kalie Quaglia, Ella Patterson, and Audrey Millerall tallied three shots. 

• Rachel Rinehart and Madeline Osman earned two shots during the contest. 

• Olivia St. Amand, Morgan Stickley, Ashley Fanger, Liv Baczor, Chloe Guerra, Amelia Kopp, Ashley Marchessault, and Shelby Vernon all took one shot during the game. 

• Katie Henchy and Alexis Nussbaumer led a quiet night, having to face zero shots all night.   

• The River Hawks tallied 11 corner kicks on the night, the most of any game this season.
